MISCONCEPTIONS
Another misconception is that many people believe that to conjure the dead would be bothering them. This is just not true. The dead are around to protect and help you. They are happy to be summoned and most likely they will be sad if you don't talk to them. The dead would feel forgotten.
The beliefs of the common person go against the fact that the dead are still around and are not already reincarnated or are in what the Christians call heaven. It takes 100 years for a person to be reincarnated. An entire generation has to die before a person can be reborn.
There are many opinions about necromancy and they are mostly negative and uneducated. Many people, including the pagan community, believe that necromancy is for bane people and that it should be banished. They don't want people to know anything about it. This is why it is important for everyone to understand the true magical art of necromancy.
