Reading tea leaves is also known as tasseography.  Tea that is from China is known for providing the best results.  The person who is having the reading done must first drink the tea.  The person drinks it until the cup is almost all gone with just a small amount left in the cup.  Ask the person you are doing this for to turn the cup clockwise three times and then take the cup and turn it over onto the saucer.  The water drains away and the leaves that are still in the cup distribute closest to the rim.  The leaves that are closest to the rim represent the immediate future.  The distant future is further in the cup.  The leaves will form shapes.  Follow the chart and you will see the future.
